Who is this Michael Hodges? Well, I was born in Texas, I grew up in the Army Brat life living in a lot of places, much of my childhood in Germany and a few other states in the US; Arizona, Missouri, Florida, New Jersey. Upon graduating, I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of New Jersey and joined the Army. Today I live in the Philadelphia suburbs with my daughter, who’s a toddler going on a teenager… the sass is strong in that one.
I’m a lover of all things tech, sci-fi, witty puns and lame dad jokes.
I’m a Freemason, a Past Master of Mitchell Lodge No. 296 in Jenkintown, PA (now Mitchell Lodge No. 81, having merged into Hiram Lodge No. 81) as well as a twice Past Master of Lodge No. 3 in Philadelphia. I’m currently the Erwürdiger Meister (Worshipful Master) of Hermann-Humboldt Lodge No. 125 in Warminster, PA, which is the oldest German speaking Masonic lodge in the country. I’m also a 32º Scottish Rite Mason with the Valley of Philadelphia, a Mark Mason (York Rite) with Royal Arch Chapter No. 3 and Sir Knight with St. John’s Commandery No. 4.
