I’ve always had Lodge cast iron, mainly because it was easy to buy locally or Amazon, and because unlike the others brands made today – it’s made in the USA. So I looked on eBay and found this one, a #8 size, p/n 704J, which I believe based on the logo type on the bottom, was made between 1897-1957.
I love my Lodge cast iron and use them several times a week, but I’m excited to start my collection from Griswold, Wagner, etc. These babies are soooo much smoother and actually feel lighter too.
